For the descent, I followed Rollins Trail for 0.5 where it ends at a parking area. Up hill most of the way, some scrambling at the top, lots of tree cover. Kearsarge’s one blemish is a communications tower and its accompanying utility sheds. Check out the scenic views at the 2 mile mark because most of this trail is through the forest and doesn't offer much of a view.
